In his determination to continue to empower the youth in all ramifications, the Executive Chairman of Oshodi isolo local government has presented a bus to the youth wing of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos state .
The Executive Chairman of the council, represented by his Chief of staff, Comrade Leke Banjoko, disclosed that he is a firm believer in the empowerment of the youth as they are the future hence his resolve to make 80% of his cabinet members youths.
The council boss commended the youth wing under the leadership of Dr. Muritala Seriki for the job being done in propagating the ideals of the party and consistently marketing the aspiration of the candidate of the party, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed TInubu.
He posited that he will be willing and prepared to support the youth wing in ensuring that the good work continues.
Otunba Oloyede enjoined the youth leader to continue the good work, stressing that the future is bright, with a youth friendly Governor like Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
In his brief response, the youth Leader, Dr Muritala Seriki thanked the council boss for the gift and promised they will continue to propagate the party positively across the country and beyond.
At the presentation inside the council secretariat was the Party Chairman of the APC in Oshodi-Isolo local Hon. Saheed Animashaun, women leader of the APC in Oshodi Isolo local Government, Alhaja Modinat Ibrahim, some of the ward youth leaders in the council as well as some aides of the Chairman
